Led Zeppelin came together Sunday night, and again on Monday...but not to perform.

Sunday, they were among this year's group of Kennedy Center Honorees. The honors are the nation's highest award for those who influenced American culture through the arts. President Obama was on hand for the ceremony and thanked Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Robert Plant for behaving themselves at the White House, given their past history of "hotel rooms trashed and mayhem all around." On hand to pay tribute to Zeppelin were the Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz and Jack Black. Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson, with a choir and Jason Bonham on drums, did "Stairway to Heaven."

Also honored were blues legend Buddy Guy, Dustin Hoffman, ballerina Natalia Makarova, and David Letterman.

Sunday night's ceremony will air on CBS on December 26th.

Speaking of Letterman, the guys joined Dave on his show last night.

..."about sex, Vikings, and sex with Vikings". You'll understand.
